Change is certainly in the air and Spring has certainly sprung (in typical Melbourne fashion!). Here at Sprout things are also changing. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the power duo Krystal and Magick- we wish you all the best in your new adventures and want to sincerely thank-you for everything you have brought to the Sprout community.
So with a sad goodbye comes a big hello. Here at Sprout we work very closely with each other and are definitely what you would call a close team. So we are so excited to announce the newest member to our Sprout team- you may have already seen her around!
Introducing.. Ashlee Boyle!
Ashlee has been helping us at Sprout since May so she is already well settled into the team. We sat her down for our Sprout Q&A to learn more..
I can never decide! But right now I love Aqua.
Sweet or savoury?
Summer or winter?
Summer. I hate having cold toes in winter!
Curtains or ducks?
Ducks! Because they love to swim like I do.
Why did you become an OT?
I always knew I wanted to work in a career where I could help people be the best they could be. I love being creative and having fun everyday so a Paediatric Occupational Therapist was the perfect fit for me.
Favourite childhood memory?
Playing netball every Saturday morning with all of my friends and my mum on the sidelines coaching. Still my favourite thing to do!
Favourite childhood TV show?
The Wiggles! I loved to dance and sing along all day long.
Describe your ideal day?
Sun shining bright and spending time with my beautiful family.
Is there a quote you live by?
The more you read, the more you know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go- Dr. Seuss
Sprout started in 2006 what were you doing then?
I was just graduating primary school!
If you were stuck on a desert island, what three things would you bring and why?
Music to sing and dance along to all day. My puppy, Polly, to keep me company and an endless supply of pasta because it’s my favourite food!
If you could have three people over for dinner, who would they be and why?
- Heston Blumenthal! Because I’m a terrible cook and he is the best chef in the world so I’d need his help!
- Laura Geitz. Australia’s best netball Goal Keeper and I could always do with some tips!
- My Mum. Because she would love to meet the two people above and we always have the best time cooking together (her cooking and me ‘taste testing’)
Thanks Ashlee, we are so excited to have you on board!
